You may have heard the sad news that the Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort will be closing its doors in July for a total renovation. There’s still time though to enjoy the resort and also join in their E-Series Final Farewell Charity Fun Run Event on 7 May 2017. This year, they will offer a unique running track like no other; their Greg Norman designed golf course, with stunning views of the Indian Ocean, traditional working Balinese rice paddies and ancient Hindu temples, a wide array of stunning colours and local wildlife.
The fundraising event kicks off with registration at the Golfers Terrace at 6am with an invigorating warm up session followed by the races at 7am. The Nirwana team is no stranger to catering to everyone’s individual needs, with three male and female categories to suit all ages and abilities including 2km & 4km fun-run and an 8km for the seasoned runners.
This year, the iconic resort invites runners and health enthusiast alike to explore the beauty of Greg Norman’s masterpiece Nirwana Bali Golf Course, the only course in the country to be ranked in Golf Digest Top 100 Golf Courses in the World and titled Indonesia’s Best Golf Course 2016 by the World Golf Awards.
The post run program’s healthy Breakfast tailored by the talented culinary team of Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali including a healthy variety of super foods, sumptuous morning specialties such as smoothies, low fat muffins and fresh super fruits, a protein corner and many more nutritional and tasty breakfast delights.
The race has a joining fee of IDR 300,000 (adults) and IDR 150,000 (kids aged 4 – 12 years old) and is inclusive of a bespoke E-Series race T-Shirt, competitor medal, healthy breakfast, exclusive access to the resorts four-tiered swimming pools and 52m water slides and Kids Club, access to the Golf Clubs luxurious changing room facilities complemented with its amenities as well as prizes worth $40,000 USD. Non-runners, family and friends are invited to enjoy the breakfast and exclusive access to the pool for just Rp200,000.
All of the proceeds from the event and silent auctions will be donated to the “Embrace Kids” initiative, this year the award-winning resort pledges to raise Rp90,000,000 to support one of the Embrace Kids’ Programs, ‘Helmet Man’ – partnered up with Rotary Club of Bali Canggu. Through “Embrace Kids”, Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort has delivered continuous safety and education initiatives for the long-term improvement of the schools in local villages and their students.
